Called & Commissioned

Becoming Prophets for Our Time

Called & Commissioned aims to hear and heed God's voice from within the tumult of this time. Practicing the prayer, study, and silent receptivity exemplified by the biblical prophets, course participants will examine the world as God sees it, and discern ways to speak God's truth.

Drawing on the biblical prophetic tradition, Carmelite prophetic heritage, and Catholic Social Teaching, this programme forms participants in prophetic discernment and witness — hearing and heeding God's voice in our time.

The course prepares participants — individually and as a community — to exercise more fully their Baptismal commission to serve as prophets to our world and our Church.
